Today, our 3000+ social enterprises are pioneering new approaches to delivering quality public services, tackling climate change and regenerating communities. They create quality jobs and training for vulnerable people furthest from the labour market, as well as exciting career opportunities for individuals of all ages.

Scotland’s social enterprises are an increasingly valuable part of the fabric of Scottish society. The Scottish Social Enterprise Coalition is calling for social enterprises in Scotland to be empowered to play their role in regenerating and building Scotland’s communities, creating a national culture of social entrepreneurship.
