Doing good while doing well; social entrepreneurs are playing a vital role in building a more impactful and inclusive economy. Their businesses are zebras, not unicorns: they are real, responding to real issues that they see in their communities; they are black and white, focused on profit and positive social impact; and they are mutualistic, recognising together they are stronger and that it’s their collective impact that counts.

These businesses measure success based on the triple bottom line of people, planet and profits. With social entrepreneurs creating and sustaining employment opportunities, improving health and fitness, supporting the homeless and those marginalised within our local communities; the potential is huge.

Join us for a fireside chat to hear from some of Scotland’s brightest social entrepreneurs and find out why they have chosen to do what they do. Hosted by Rachael Brown (Chief Executive, Cultural Enterprise Office) this event will highlight the trends emerging in the social enterprise community in Scotland and beyond.

These social entrepreneurs are on a mission to make the world a better place.
